My approach to therapy
You want a therapist who will listen without judgment, who will help you see your strengths, who will respect your autonomy, and also gently challenge you to dig a bit deeper. I approach therapy from an eclectic orientation that takes into account the individual and societal systems that influence who we are. My stance is trauma-informed, collaborative, and authentic, with a deep commitment to building a secure relationship that is a necessary foundation for healing work. While I’ll guide you through the process, you’re the expert on your own experience and it’s important for you to have agency in your healing journey. I utilize humor to build self-awareness and determine where you can create shifts and changes in your life. Together, we can cut through the muddle in order to access more inner peace and genuine connection.
